Galapagos Tip Top II Yachts

Our First Class Yacht Tip Top II was designed and constructed to offer the highest level of security and comfort to our guests. The Tip Top II is a First Class Steel-hulled Motor Yacht, built to impeccably high standard in Guayaquil/Ecuador in 1983 and completely rebuilt in 1986, 1998 and 2006. The Tip Top II is specially designed and built to accommodate 16 guests in comfortable cabins. With 90 feet of length, 22 feet of beam and a 5 feet Draft, the Tip Top II is a very comfortable, traditional and full of history yacht in the Galapagos Islands.

Our 16 guests are accommodated in 9 cabins, each with private bathroom. The six cabins in the Lower Deck have two single lower berths.

 In the Upper Deck we have 2 cabins with two single lower berths and one cabin with one double lower berth.

 Cabins, Bar, dining room and lounge are fully carpeted for your comfort. A beautiful teak floored sun deck creates a delightful place for resting and relaxing on board.

Twin 24 miles range Furuno radar's; Apelco Loran echosounder; GP-50 Furuno GPS; MC-7000 SSB radio; M125 Icom VHF radio; ACR RLB-23 Epirb; Silva 150 magnetic compass, barometer; clock; thermometer; helm indicator; searchlight; horn, twin Elliot inflatable life rafts for 12 passengers each (Solas 74/83); 50 life jackets; fire & smoke detectors; complete fire system; twin 17 feet tender with 25 HP outboard motor for 12 passengers each. Safety equipment complies with international Coast Guard regulations.

YACHT EQUIPMENT

Freezer; icemaker; refrigerator; electric range with grill & oven; fully air-conditioned (Aqua Air Chill Water System); hot & cold freshwater pressure system; Royal flush electric toilets; TV; VCR; stereo music system. Upon request Bauer Nautilus dive compressor; 50 diving cylinders with harness & weight belts. Snorkeling gear available for rent.
State of the art equipment and services are now installed and operating in the TIP TOP II. Some of the major features follow:

- Installation of new Cumming's Marpol Anex VI compliant propulsive engines and Shafts and propellers change.
- Installation of new ONAN Marpol Anex VI compliant generators
- New Air Conditioning System for the entire yacht
- Reallocation of cabins 05 and 06 and Engine room
- 80% Iron plates change and Hull widening
- Lobby and dinner room reallocation and improvement
- Desalinization water plant installation
- New Sun Deck
- Expansion of actual covered deck and Main Bow deck
- Installation and configuration of Top of the Line Audio and Video System and Multimedia Equipment

Some of the advantages of these improvements are:

Speed: Cruise speed increased to an average of 10 knots (nautical miles per hour)
Silence: Cabins and public areas are now much more silent, especially Cabins 5 and 6 and Lounge. Autonomy: The Tip Top II have now improved efficiency in the use of pure fresh water Comfort: Lobby and Dinning Room, Cabins 01 to 06 and actual covered deck with new increased room for passengers; in addition, the new Sun Deck creates more areas available for enjoying the Galapagos Islands on board the Tip Top II.
Stability: The Tip Top II have increased stability which makes navigation more comfortable and enjoyable for passengers.
